- A fascinator is a relatively new idea and is gaining in popularity with both the leading lady and the proud mother-of-the-bride. These can be decorated with beads, flowers, feathers, etc., and make a superb replacement for the more formal hat.
- A chaplet, or wreath, is a very traditional and timeless bridal headdress and, like the tiara, will look stunning with the majority of wedding dress styles.
